Billing

Visit our friendly staff in person to pay your bill or you may use our drop box located at the south end of our parking lot after hours and on weekends. Pay by phone by calling 1-888-255-5167 and use your bank account or credit or debit card. Pay by phone is a one time payment and your personal bank information is NOT stored for future payment.

From our web site, you may make a one time online payment or set your account up for automatic bank draft or set up a SmartHub account so you can process your payments manually monthly. SmartHub, our online bill pay service lets you view your bill electronically. You can set up no bill print and have your bills emailed to you monthly.  SmartHub allows you to view, pay and manage your account online.

All Electric bills are due 20th business day of each month. If the 20th falls on a holliday or weekend, the due date is pushed to the next business day. Accounts not paid by the scheduled due date on your bill, will be subject to a 1.5% late fee penalty against the balance owed at that time. .

For collections and payment arrangements, please call Tara at 218-694-8205. Phone and online payments can made 24/7 and there is no charge to you.

In the event Clearwater-Polk Electric has to disconnect electric services for non-payment, all outstanding charges must be paid, and are not limited to a deposit and a $50.00 reconnect fee. Before services are restored all fees need paid in full. If the consumer requests that the service be reconnected after the working hours of the day an additional fee of $150.00 plus tax must be paid.
